Ken has been in practice since 2002. Over the years, he has been cultivating his empathic abilities in healing. He believes that we are nothing more than embodied spirit. It is with much gratitude that Ken offers his service to others.
Along with his clinical practice, Ken actively teaches at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He has been sharing his clinical and classical Chinese medical experience with students over the years. He is also a Professional Development Activity (PDA) provider through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) which certifies our profession. One of his long time teachers, Jeffrey Yuen, a Daoist priest, has helped Ken to deeply learn how to create a space of healing. This training has helped him to gain a deep insight into the roots and foundations of Chinese medicine. Other significant trainings have been with accomplished Japanese acupuncturists, Yi Jing practitioners and Chinese medicine herbalists. Ken graduated from Pacific College Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA in 2002 and currently holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, DACM, degree. He remains a lifelong learner and is continuing his training with Facial Counterstrain. |
