What is Qi Gong?
You might be given a Qi Gong exercise by your acupuncturist to help
continue the treatment between visits.  Qi Gong is an exercise that uses
breathing techniques together with different body positions.  This exercise
promotes again the circulation of Qi and blood throughout the body.  It can
help build up a person’s energy.  It can relieve stress.  It can also help
prevent illness from occurring.  Tai Qi and other martial arts have aspects of
Qi Gong.  They use breathing, body position and concentration to achieve
more strength in their body.
Through movement, our
breath and intention we can
to move Qi and promote
health in our life.  Qi Gong
helps to invigorate the body.
